Joshua’s call to “choose today whom you will serve” invites us to examine the false gods competing for our allegiance and commit ourselves to the God who brings freedom, healing, and belonging. Even as we honestly confront the painful and complicated legacies of our past, we can choose to follow God into a future of liberation and wholeness for all.
